Year 7 Scholarships – APPLY NOW!

Applications for the 2024 Year 7 Scholarships are OPEN. These scholarships are available to students in Year 7 in 2024 at Copperfield College. 

There will be two scholarship recipients in each category at Year 7 in 2024. Successful students at Year 7 will receive payment of $500 which can be spent at the discretion of the student / family on school related items as well as a laptop device. In Year 8, the same students will receive an additional payment of $500 for their families to use towards school related items.

Academic Excellence

These are available to students with an exemplary academic record and who have demonstrated outstanding application, aptitude and achievement in all studies.

Performing Arts

These are available to students who have demonstrated music/performing arts ability and a strong interest in performance. They will also have sound academic skills and may have participated in Contemporary Music exams or AMEB exams.

Leadership/ Community

These are available to students with a solid academic record who have demonstrated leadership skills and potential in a variety of settings that include participation and commitment to school and community activities.

Additional Criteria

Applicants for all scholarship categories must also demonstrate a strong work ethic at primary level, have been supportive of fellow students and have fully participated in the life of their school.

Application Process

Applications must be supported by sufficient evidence such as certificates, reports, teacher references, pieces of work and any other relevant information.

Scholarship selection is by interview – not entry exam.

All applicants will receive a letter of receipt of their application and successful shortlisted applicants will be advised of their interview time.
